Founded by Lorena Kanzki in 2019, 1st Gen Yes You Can is a collective of first-generation college students and alumni serving to form a community in which first-gens at any stage of their college or career track can learn from one another.  Our platform begins with the digital space, where we use our web and social media sites to share first-gen stories, resources, information, and conversation starters aimed to help our first-gen community grow and succeed collectively.
